"A truly amazing technology in a head set. I work at Edwards AFB as a flight test engineer and fly with our local aero club. My primary airplane is a sweet old C182RG with a throatie O-540. I finally received a set of Zulus for my birthday and couldn't believe how light and compact they are. I took advantage of the upgrade program and turned in my wife's XL15s and gave her my XL25 that had been re-furbished at no cost by Lightspeed.
Being in Test, the first thing that I did was exercise all the features. I put them on my lady and played my iPhone music through it. Bad idea. She had that look like when she first tried on my XL20s while in flight and refused to give them back. I asked a couple of times for them and she simply shook her head no and went back to enjoying what she was doing. Hence the second set of XLs.
The ease using them with the iPhone is simply superb. It was very easy to pair with the Bluetooth and I actually gave her a call from the hold short at EDW. The place is very busy with a new class of Test Pilots going through class and to have the nice crisp and quiet Zulus working was pure joy. Lightspeed has knocked a home run now. I am now showing my Zulu's off to the rest of the test community. It will be a hit in this community as well."
