Thanks to the superb noise canceling and Bluetooth capability of the Zulu he was clear as a bell and asked if I could help. I knew the Comanche had the modified Lo Presti cowling so I asked him if he had followed the directions in the manual. He had. I asked him to hold on while I ran to my computer and searched the Internet, It only took a few seconds and I had the modified emergency gear instructions for the Lo Presti mod. I quickly ran Jason through them and down came the gear.
If it were not for the clear and special capabilities of the Zulu we would have had a wrecked aircraft and a shaken pilot at best,perhaps worse.
